Following the Masai Mara we headed south to Arusha, our gateway to the mighty Serengeti. Now this is somewhere that has a special place in my heart, it’s meaning in the native language is ‘endless plains’ and this is such an accurate description. Whilst game driving you can see for miles and miles and there is a moment that hits you when you realise that you are fulfilling a dream. Every time that I take clients into the park I see new and exciting things; and they just keep getting better. It is always a pleasure to share these experiences with great people. So we enter the park to do a day and a half in the Serengeti and a day in the Ngorongoro crater, both apprehensive and excited as we don’t know what we will see as it is never gauranteed but WOW it was certainly once in a lifetime! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see our Leopard, however we saw everything else we wanted to and when you find yourself no more that 5 meters from 2 male lions eating a fresh buffalo you realise that not seeing that Leopard far off in a tree is ok, because you have captured a moment that very few will see.
