Your hostel is a great base from which to explore Cape Town. Visit the Cape of Good Hope and the Peninsular or famous wineries. The evenings are yours to sample the sumptuous fare of the many al fresco restaurants and bars within the city. Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and three nights minimum are required to explore this fascinating city and surrounds.
Day 1
Arrive in Cape Town and (if applicable) you are transferred from the airport to your comfortable hostel in Green Point, which is a short distance from the world-renowned V&A Waterfront shopping and entertainment complex, and within a short taxi ride from the city centre. Enjoy an evening at leisure in one of the city's many excellent restaurants.
Day 2
Today there is the option to choose one of two of Cape Town’s most popular day tours. The Cape Peninsula Tour takes in a leisurely drive around the Cape Peninsula through both the picturesque seaside resorts on the Atlantic Seaboard and the quaint fishing villages on False Bay. Included are visits to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope, and the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. The Winelands Tour visits the Cape’s famous Winelands region where you can sample South African fine wines next to the vines and classic Cape Dutch farmhouses on some beautiful historical wine estates.
Day 3
Cape Town can be explored at your leisure today, and there are numerous attractions and activities. You can ride the Aerial Cableway to the top of Table Mountain for the spectacular views over the city and ocean, or take the ferry to the World Heritage Site of Robben Island for a thought-provoking tour of Nelson Mandela’s former prison home.
Day 4
After an action-packed exploration of Cape Town, you are transferred to the airport (if applicable).
