It is a cosmopolitan and fast-paced urban centre with a vast amount of attractions and activities on offer for any visitor, as well as modern glitzy shopping malls and first-class restaurants. Choose from city and Soweto Township tours, seeing wildlife at the Lion Park, or visiting an old goldmine shaft at Gold Reef City.

On arrival at the airport, you are transferred to your comfortable hostel in Johannesburg’s attractive northern suburbs, which is close to shopping malls and some excellent restaurants.
Day 2
Today there is a choice of a half-day tour; the Johannesburg city tour takes in the historical sites in the city centre like Museum Africa and the Newtown Cultural Precinct, while the Pretoria city tour goes to the imposing Voortrekker Monument and to the attractive government buildings in the city centre. At the Lion Park, you can take a short drive to see many prides of lion or possibly cuddle a lion cub, while the tour at Gold Reef City explores Johannesburg’s gold-mining history. (On a 4-day City Stay, choose 2 half day trips).
Day 3
You are transferred to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
