Day 1. Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park, Botswana Highlights. Chobe National Park Game Drive, Botswana. Chobe National Park, Botswana.

This morning you are met at your accommodation and transferred to the Botswana border to join your safari guide before the short drive to Kasane. We enter the Chobe National Park and game drive to our first wilderness bushcamp for the night. Chobe is world renowned for its big herds of elephants and we hope to see them on our game drive along with antelope, hippos, birdlife and reptiles that dot the banks of the Chobe River.

Day 2. Chobe National Park - Savuti

With an early start we take a early morning game drive in search of the resident wildlife. We game drive our way to the Savuti plains through the day and on arrival to our bushcamp we set up for our night under stars. In the cool of the afternoon we take a game drive to see what wildlife we can spot in the Savuti. Famous for the high presence of predators, we hope to see some of these along the way.

Day 3. Savuti - Moremi Game Reserve and Game Management area Highlights. Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana. Savuti Marsh, Botswana.

Leaving the Savuti early in the morning we continue our journey within the wilderness to the Moremi Game Reserve. The Moremi is famous for its lion, leopard and wild dog sightings. Honey Badger and Spotted Hyena are regular visitors to the campsite at night so be sure to zip that tent up and pack away any midnight snacks! We head out for a late afternoon game drive in Moremi after the heat of midday has dissipated and see what we can spot in this part of Botswana's wilds.

Day 4. Moremi Game Reserve - Maun Highlights. Maun, Botswana.

Today we head to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. We continue on an early morning game drive in the Moremi area and then return mid-morning to camp where we pack up and proceed to Maun.

Stopping off in town, we stock up on supplies before heading to our camp just outside Maun.

Day 5. Maun - Okavango Delta - Maun Highlights. Okavango Delta, Botswana.

We leave our camp in Maun this morning for an unforgettable day spent in the Okavango Delta wilderness. We travel a short distance to meet up the the local guides, 'polers'. We get into the traditional dugout canoes called 'Makoros' to explore the some of the many channels of the Delta. The Delta is a one of kind inland delta. We spend the day exploring the channels of the Delta. We also explore some of the many islands on foot. We return after lunch to Maun where we have the option of doing a scenic flight over the Delta to see this watery wilderness from a different perspective.

Day 6. Maun - Makgadikadi Pans Highlights. Makgadikadi Pans, Botswana.

We leave Maun early and continue to the small town/village of Gweta. We head south to Chapmans's Boababs. We explore the vast salt pans today. We camp on the edge of the pans under the African skies.

N.B: Due to the rainy season in Botswana we may not camp at the Makgadikgadi Pans. In that case we may move our destination to Nata where we will overnight and wake early for an opportunity to see the Flamingo’s at the Flamingo sanctuary

Day 7. Makgadikadi Pans - Victoria Falls

We leave early this morning to make our way back to Victoria Falls. We drive through small villages and the game management area where we might spot some animals that is migrating from Hwange National Park (ZIM) to The Chobe National Park.
