Klein Karoo National Arts Festival

Celebrate Oudtshoorn’s biggest street festival in a tangle of art, music and theatre. One of South Africa’s major art festivals, you’re sure to find some new inspiration here.

Cape Town International Jazz Festival

A can’t-miss for jazz fans worldwide, this exceptional annual event is in its 2nd decade this year, and sure to be better than ever. There’s even a free concert in Greenmarket Square if you can’t get tickets for the main event.

  • 29 – 30 Mar | CTICC

Splash Fen

A KwaZulu-Natal institution, this is the longest running (and most-loved) music festival around. Nestled in gorgeous Drakensberg surroundings, this is the perfect way to celebrate Easter, music and the people you love with good vibes all around.

The Rand Show

Possibly the largest family-orientated event in the country, it’s celebrating its 125th year this year. With everything from circus acts and fire dancing expos to cook-offs and fitness buffs, there’s a little something for everyone. You can’t say you are South African until you’ve been at the Rand Show.

SA Cheese festival

Celebrating all things cheese (and pairing them with great wines too), expect 3 days of the tastiest nosh around. Packed with life entertainment, experience hand-crafted dainties and enjoyable, interactive tastings the whole day… you can even try your hand at cheese carving!

AfrikaBurn
