Mama Africa \u2013 Cape Town, South Africa<\/b><\/p>\n

Mama Africa was established more than 10 years ago as a tribute to, and a celebration of, South Africa’s new democracy. The restaurant sits prominently in an old historic building on Long Street, the heart of Cape Town’s buzzing inner city near the vibrant night clubs. The hospitality is legendary and is enjoyed by a varied clientele both foreign and local, which serves to give a unique colourful ambience.<\/p>\n

Joes Beer House \u2013 Windhoek, Namibia<\/b><\/p>\n

This amazing restaurant is set in a tranquil Oasis with relics of old and collections of new hanging from the ceiling and walls \u2013 a unique perspective of it s own. This is Africa\u2019s most popular restaurant where the desert breeze captures the senses in a whirl wind of visual and culinary delights.<\/p>\n

With a central vibe bar in the middle, a Boma for entertainment, little pot fires for the winter and an atmosphere of delighted happy people enjoying the vast choices on the menu from game meats, steak – a selection of the finest cuts, vegetarian food and the best corn fritters in the world. One can\u2019t leave without trying the famous Bushman sosatie (kebab)
\nwith its selection of ostrich, crocodile, zebra, kudu, chicken (ostrich & zebra seasonal) served with mango-chili sauce, corn fritters & salad. Carnivore<\/b> is justifiably referred to as Africa\u2019s greatest eating experience. Twice voted amongst the world\u2019s 50 best restaurants by UK based restaurant magazine. \u00a0With its open-air restaurant in the Langata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya, Carnivore’s specialty is barbeque meat, and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet including four choices of wild game roasted on Masai swords (skewers). These are roasted over a huge but spectacular charcoal pit oven that dominates the main entrance. It is a popular tourist destination and a standard stop on the safari trail.<\/p>\n

This restaurant offers their Barbeque with a difference. Not only do they serve your normal beef, pork and chicken, they serve Game meat as well. Giraffe, Gnu, Zebra, Crocodile, Hartebeest and Ostrich are some of the specials that you will find on the menu. The meat comes with special sauces which are Carnivores secret, a selection of vegetables and salads.<\/p>\n
