Soup<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Serves 24<\/p>\n<p>5.5 kgs onions\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 12 cloves garlic<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 cup of 09 Litres of beef stock (or veggie stock for your vegetarians)<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper to 1 cup of butter<\/p>\n<p>Melt the butter, fry onions until soft.\u00a0 Add crushed garlic and flour and cook for a couple of minutes.\u00a0 Add stock and salt and pepper.\u00a0 Bring to the boil then 12 chicken stock cubes<\/p>\n<p>7.5 litres water\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3.5 kg pumpkin, peeled and cut into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>1 litre salt and pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>Melt butter in saucepan then add curry powder and onion.\u00a0 Cook until soft.\u00a0 Stir in crumpled stock cubes and water and bring to the boil.\u00a0 Add pumpkin pieces and cook until tender.\u00a0 Cool.\u00a0 Push through fine sieve.\u00a0 Return to saucepan and stir in milk and salt.\u00a0 Heat gently.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=1656\" 10 tbsp corn flour<\/p>\n<p>4 litres chicken stock<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil, fry onions until soft.\u00a0 Add tomatoes, herbs, Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper.\u00a0 Bring to the boil and stir well.\u00a0 Simmer for 30 mins or until soft.\u00a0 Moisten corn flour with a little stock, add remaining stock to saucepan.\u00a0 Bring to the boil.\u00a0 Pour in blended corn flour and continue cooking until soup thickens.\u00a0 Simmer for 5 mins.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=1653\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1653\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter chopped\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2 kg carrots, thinly sliced<\/p>\n<p>4 kg potatoes\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 8 litres of vegetable stock<\/p>\n<p>1 kg salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>Wash lentils, remove any stones.\u00a0 Saut\u00e9 chopped onions.\u00a0 Add carrots and all other ingredients except potatoes.\u00a0 Peel potatoes and chop small, add to soup for the last 20 mins.\u00a0 Simmer until all ingredients are well cooked.\u00a0 Can also add curry powder to spice up your soup.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=1645\" rel=\"attachment oil<\/p>\n<p>Salt and pepper<\/p>\n<p>Heat oil in a saucepan.\u00a0 Fry cubed aubergine.\u00a0 Add crushed garlic, stock, tomato paste and salt and pepper.\u00a0 Bring to the boil.\u00a0 Cover and
