Over the next 3 weeks, follow Hannah as she embarks on her adventure of a life time.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Here is Hannah\u2019s final post as she leave Livingstone and heads through the stunning country of Botswana, the desolate deserts of Namibia to the Mother City of Cape Town, where her adventure ends.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3495\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3495\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3495\" alt=\"pic15\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic15.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Leaving Livingstone behind, we make our way to Botswana and the Chobe National Park. After an amazing sunset game cruise on the Chobe River where hippo\u2019s wallow and elephants dot the banks of the park, we head south to the Okavango Delta \u2013 a natural wetland and an amazing eco system. After a nature walk, we built a campfire and ate smores before sleeping out under the blanket of stars.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3496\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3496\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3496\" alt=\"pic7\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic7.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a night with the Bushman, the first inhabitants of around 20, 000 years, we make our way to Namibia, a unique country unlike no other. The scenery is breath-taking, bold and unique and hosts may awesome \u2018hot spots\u2019<\/p>\n<p>We arrive to Windhoek, the capital of Namibia and enjoy an awesome dinner at Joe\u2019s Beer House \u2013 possibly the coolest restaurant in the world! From here we head to Etosha National Park \u2013 a magical park that hosts an array of animals that can be seen at the flood lit watering holes in the campsite and inside the park for the best photo opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3498\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3498\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3498\" alt=\"pic 22\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic-22.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Making our way south through rugged moonscapes, we enjoy a night at the Cheetah park and the coolest rock formation \u2013 Spitzkoppe before arriving to Swakopmund \u2013 the Adventure capital of Namibia! Jump out of a plane if you dare and enjoy the sand loving activities \u2013 sand boarding and quad biking! \u00a0This cool town hosts numerous German bakeries and cool shops.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3497\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3497\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3497\" alt=\"pic10\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic10.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"613\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Starting to feel sad as it\u2019s the last week of this amazing tour, we now head for the Namib Naukluft National Park, dune 45 and the reddest desert and highest dunes I have ever seen. We clamper up the energy sapping Dune 45 at dusk,\u00a0 to see the sun rise as the colours shift across the dune belt. OMG \u2013 this is certainly by far the most beautiful place on earth and has to be now my favourite!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3499\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3499\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3499\" alt=\"pic12\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic12.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Heading further south, we stop at the second largest canyon in the world, Fish River Canyon for a beautiful walk and photo opportunity before crossing the border to South Africa and the final stretch to Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/blog\/?attachment_id=3500\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3500\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3500\" alt=\"pic13\" src=\"https:\/\/acacia-africa.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/pic13.jpg\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To sum it all up\u2026 From seeing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, white water rafting on the Nile; seeing the \u2018big 5\u2019 game animals \u2013 elephant, rhino, lion, leopard and buffalo along the way; sipping cocktails on Zanzibar beaches; swinging in hammocks against Lake Malawi; bartering for wood products in the many markets; gazing through the lily pads in a dug-out canoe in the Okavango Delta; spectacular colours as the sun rises from the top of dune 45 \u2026 I can honestly say, you won\u2019t get these experiences anywhere else in the world!
