Here are a few #TravelTuesday tips to consider before you book:<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s your budget &amp; schedule:\u00a0You don\u2019t have to spend three months as a volunteer to make a difference. \u00a0Shorter voluntours will give you the opportunity to play a hands on role in an organisation and provide valuable support for example, researching and monitoring wildlife.<\/p>\n<p>Make an Impact: Are you really up for a voluntour? Decide whether you really want to give back or simply travel as you need to be committed even if it\u2019s for a short period of time. There are some oganisations which will give you the opportunity to volunteer for a day and project visits still bring much needed funds to worthy organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Keep it Local: Projects that also\u00a0<a title=\"Employ local labour and benefit communities\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thetravelword.com\/2014\/09\/02\/voluntourism-community-giving-back\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b>employ local labour and benefit communities<\/b>\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0should be first on your list.
