Day 1. Swakopmund to Spitzkoppe Highlights. Spitzkoppe, Namibia.

From the hustle and bustle in Swakopmund to the calming landscapes and ever changing red shaded rock formations at Spitzkoppe. Explore the area and its ancient bushman paintings this afternoon before spending your first night out under the starry African night.

Day 2. Spitzkoppe to Etosha National Park

Waking with majestic views over the rock formations, we enjoy breakfast before hitting the road north. We travel through a few of Namibia's smaller farming towns before getting to Etosha National Park.

On entering the park, we begin our game drive seeking out the resident wildlife, as we make our way to a fenced-in camp for the night. Tonight you can watch for game at the floodlit waterhole and see if you can spot the animals as they come to drink.

Day 3. Etosha National Park Highlights. Etosha National Park, Namibia.

Today we enjoy a full day game drive within Etosha, seeking out a variety of the park’s inhabitants. Etosha is dominated by a vast salt pan at its centre, with an array of dirt tracks surrounding the pan for us to explore.

Spend a relaxing evening at one of the waterholes awaiting the nocturnal visitors tonight.

Day 4. Etosha to Windhoek Highlights. Windhoek, Namibia.

We head out of the wilderness and back to civilisation today, as we make our way to Windhoek, Namibia's capital city.

This evening we have the opportunity to explore the nightlife in town - marvel at the variety of local delicacies at Joe's Beerhouse - complete with German style bar or head to the city to explore!

Day 5. Windhoek to Omaheke Region, Namibia Highlights. Kalahari Bushman Walk, Omaheke Region, Namibia.

Heading East, we make our way to the barren lands of the Omaheke Region, close to the Botswana border.

Amidst a seemingly unfruitful environment, we meet the San/Bushman. They will give us some insight into how they have managed to use natural resources to survive the harsh climate and keep their culture alive.

Day 6. Omaheke Region, Namibia to Maun, Botswana Highlights. Maun, Botswana.

Once a little rural town, Maun has become a thriving community and a starting destination for all wishing to visit the Okavango Delta.

We stock up in town for supplies, preparing for our excursion into the Okavango Delta tomorrow.

Day 7. Maun to Okavango Delta Highlights. Okavango Delta, Botswana.

We pack our gear into the 4x4 transfer and head for the wilds, winding our way through the outer settlements around Maun.

As we drive the settlements dwindle and we are in the wilderness. Arriving to the poling station we meet our mokoro guides and get settled in the dug-out canoes for our next adventure gliding across the waters. Our camp is based on an island where we settle in and await the cooler hours of the day to head out and explore the surrounds.

The Okavango Delta is a large, fairly flat basin into which the Kavango River flows and spreads into a multitude of channels creating a wetland in an otherwise dry and desert-like landscape.

Day 8. Okavango Delta to Maun

Waking early, we head out with the morning light on another wilderness walk to see the tracks left around camp overnight, and to enjoy the open scenes one last time.

Travelling back to our Acacia vehicle at camp, we have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy a swim, a game of volleyball or head out for an optional scenic flight over the Delta.

Day 9. Maun to Nata Highlights. Elephant Sands, Nata, Botswana.

Travelling further through Botswana, we have the opportunity to see the odd-looking Baobab Trees with its upside-down appearance.

Tonight we spend the evening at Elephant Sands with its waterhole and visiting wildlife.

Day 10. Nata to Kasane Highlights. Chobe Fish Eagle Cruise, Botswana.

Chobe National Park is home to large herds of elephant as well as lion, buffalo, hippo and abundant birdlife, including the famous African fish eagle. The Chobe River is a huge watering spot for these amazing animals and this afternoon we head out on the Fish Eagle Boat Cruise to see these.

Day 11. Kasane to Livingstone, Zambia Highlights. Chobe National Park Game Drive, Botswana. Chobe National Park, Botswana. Victoria Falls - Mosi oa Tunya National Park, Zambia.

We're up early again this morning and head out in open 4x4 safari vehicles into the Chobe National Park with a resident guide. Our guide takes us along the dirt tracks to explore and see if we can seek out the predators and other fascinating wildlife here.

After our morning of adventure, we get on board our Acacia vehicle one last time and cross the border to Zambia via the quirky Kazangula ferry. Our camp is located on the banks of the Zambezi with lovely views out onto the water.

Day 12. Livingstone Highlights. Livingstone Activities, Zambia.

Explore the world renowned Victoria Falls, visit the David Livingstone Museum or spend the day visiting with the locals and learn more about their history and culture. For the more adventurous this is the time to partake in a myriad of optional adrenaline activities.

Your adventure ends after breakfast but the day is yours to enjoy!
