On this adventure accommodated tour you will game drive in Kenya's 'Lake Nakuru' before heading into Uganda where we cross the Equator for more game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National park before we trek for chimpanzees, we then go to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where we trek for the mountain gorilla. This is an amazing two week tour getting to see some of the most incredible animals in their natural habitat.

Day 1. Nairobi to Nakuru Highlights. Lake Nakuru, Kenya. Accommodation. Punda Millias.
Departing from Kenya's bustling capital, Nairobi, our journey takes us down across the Great Rift Valley and onward to one of the most famed lakes, Lake Nakuru.Day 2. Lake Nakuru to Eldoret Highlights. Equator. Accommodation. Naiberi Camp.
From Lake Nakuru we journey northwestward gaining altitude en-route to the town of Eldoret situated in the highlands close to the border with Uganda. Along the way we cross the equator for the first time on the tour.Day 3. Eldoret to Kampala Highlights. Kampala, Uganda. Accommodation. Red Chilli Hideaway, Kampala.
From Kenya we move on to Uganda this morning. Once border formalities are completed, we are welcomed into what Winston Churchill referred to as 'The Pearl of Africa'. Our journey takes us onward to the city of Kampala and our accommodation in the hills for the night.Day 4. Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park Highlights. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda. As we head from Kampala, we cross the equator again this morning, travelling South West around the shores of Lake Victoria. Through lush and fertile landscapes we journey through banana plantations and herds of cattle before arriving at our camp just outside of Queen Elizabeth National Park.Day 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chimpanzee Trek Highlights. Chimpanzee Trek, Kyambura Gorge, Uganda. Accommodation. Simba Camp, Uganda.
Entering the park this morning, we may be lucky enough to spot some wildlife near the road as we journey to the Kyambura Gorge where we start our trek to see the Chimpanzees.Day 6. Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Bunyonyi Highlights. Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda. Accommodation. Lake Bunyonyi Camp.
We leave the area around the National Park this morning and continue on towards the South West corner of Uganda. The 27km long Lake Bunyonyi area will be home for the next few days, while we venture into the nearby jungles in search of the mountain gorilla.Day 7-8. Lake Bunyonyi, Gorilla Trek Highlights. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Mountain gorillas. Accommodation. Lake Bunyonyi Camp.
We will be up early to head to the park gate and then onwards with our guides and trackers in search of the mountain gorillas. Our guides will know where the families have been the previous night but the trek can still be long and arduous through thick jungle, however the effort is well worth it when we are rewarded with an audience with these mighty animals.Day 9. Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala Accommodation. Red Chilli Hideaway, Kampala.
Once we have all trekked, we are up early and back onto the Acacia vehicle for the journey back through to Kampala.Day 10. Kampala to Jinja Accommodation. Nile River Explorer.
Today it is only a short distance from the city to Jinja and the shores of Lake Victoria, located on the banks of the famed Nile River.Day 11-12. Jinja Highlights. Jinja, Uganda. Accommodation. Nile River Explorer.
We have a two free days here to relax and enjoy as much or as little as possible. Maybe it's time to just rest the weary feet after trekking to the mountain gorillas? Or possibly take part in an activity or three?Day 13. Jinja to Eldoret, Kenya Accommodation. Naiberi Camp.
Crossing back into Kenya today, we return to our camp outside the town of Eldoret for our last night on safari.Day 14. Eldoret to Nairobi
From Eldoret we cross the Equator one final time and then it's onward through the Rift Valley and into the capital city, Nairobi - where our adventure comes to an end.Conveniently located on Nairobi's Harry Thuku Road and set in manicured gardens, this hotel offers a peaceful oasis in the centre of town.
