Take in East Africa's diverse scenery, from Kenya's lake-studded 'Great Rift Valley' to the terraced hillsides of Uganda and a very special wildlife encounter with the magnificent mountain gorilla and chimpanzee in their natural habitat.

Day 1. Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park Highlights. Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru, Kenya.
Leaving Nairobi early this morning, we cross the vast Great Rift Valley - a cleft in the earth's surface, stretching from the Red Sea to the Zambezi. En-route to Lake Nakuru National Park, we stop to take in the majestic views before descending into the valley and to the park.Day 2. Lake Nakuru National Park to Eldoret Highlights. Equator.
Continuing our journey, we cross into the northern hemisphere while climbing in altitude to Kenya's 5th largest town, the pleasant Eldoret. Our unique camp is just outside of the town in an idyllic location in the hills.Day 3. Eldoret to Kampala, Uganda Highlights. Kampala, Uganda.
Today we cross into Uganda, often referred to the Pearl of Africa owing to the country's immense beauty. After completing the entry formalities our journey takes us around the northern shores of Lake Victoria and on into the hustle and bustle of Uganda's capital city, Kampala.Day 4. Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Leaving Kampala at first light we journey further west, crossing the equator again back into the southern hemisphere. Encountering some of the iconic Ugandan Ankole (longhorn cattle) along the way, we meander through the lush rolling hills to our camp near Queen Elizabeth National Park.Day 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chimpanzee Trek Highlights. Chimpanzee Trek, Kyambura Gorge, Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda.
Entering Queen Elizabeth National Park, we drive through to the Kyambura Gorge for our chimpanzee trek. On our drive there, we may be lucky enough to see some of the many animals that inhabit this beautiful area.Day 6. Queen Elizabeth National Park to Lake Bunyonyi Highlights. Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda.
Today we get back into our Acacia vehicle and travel through the mountainous south western corner of Uganda to the lush and stunning Lake Bunyonyi, aptly called 'Place of Many Little Birds'. The lake is a beautifully tranquil spot where you can enjoy many activities in and around our camp.Day 7-8. Lake Bunyonyi, Gorilla Trek Highlights. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Mountain gorillas.
We have two days at Lake Bunyonyi in order to enable us an opportunity to trek to the mountain gorillas. The trek is strenuous, but the reward of seeing the majestic mountain gorillas more than makes up for the effort. It may take a few hours trekking through the mountainous jungle to find them feeding and playing.Day 9. Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala Highlights. Kampala, Uganda.
With a long drive ahead of us, we get an early start as we make our way back through to Kampala. We cross the equator again with another chance for photo opportunities.Day 10. Kampala to Jinja
Today we travel the short distance from Kampala down to the shores of Lake Victoria and the source of the Nile.Day 11-12. Jinja Highlights. Jinja, Uganda.
We have two fun-filled adventure days in Jinja and our team at the camp will be able to assist in organising a wide variety of activities. Perhaps enjoy white water rafting on the Nile, or explore the area on foot, bike or a quad bike. We also have the opportunity to visit a local community school project.Day 13. Jinja to Eldoret, Kenya
Crossing back into Kenya again, our adventure takes us back to Eldoret, situated south of the Cherangani hills.Day 14. Eldoret to Nairobi Highlights. Great Rift Valley.
Crossing the equator for a final time, our journey takes us back across the Great Rift Valley and to Nairobi where our safari adventure ends today.Conveniently located on Nairobi's Harry Thuku Road and set in manicured gardens, this hotel offers a peaceful oasis in the centre of town.
