Day 1. Victoria Falls to Kasane, Botswana Highlights. Chobe Fish Eagle Cruise, Botswana. Chobe National Park Game Drive, Botswana. Chobe National Park, Botswana.

We leave Victoria Falls early this morning and head for Kasane, Botswana. It is a short drive to the border and then on to Kasane, the gateway for the Chobe National Park. After lunch we head into the Chobe National Park for game drive to seek out the land based wildlife, before heading out onto the water for the Fish Eagle Cruise on the Chobe River.

The Chobe National Park is fed by the Chobe River which supplies the lifeline of water to many of the wildlife, reptile and bird species in the area. A firm favourite with 'twitchers' and animal enthusiasts alike - you'll enjoy the day out exploring!

Day 2. Kasane to Gweta

Leaving Kasane after breakfast we head south for the town of Gweta on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans.

Our base is located in the midst of a region where mighty Baobab trees can be seen. You'll have the option to head out onto the pans on an optional 4x4 safari (seasonal) or visit the baobab forest on a guided tour.

Day 3. Gweta to Maun Highlights. Gweta Village Walk, Botswana. Maun, Botswana.

We take an early morning guided walk in the local Tswana village to learn a little about everyday life in the region before continuing on to Maun and the gateway to the Okavango Delta.

Day 4. Maun to Okavango Delta Highlights. Okavango Delta, Botswana.

Transferring into the wilderness area of the vast Okavango Delta this morning on 4x4 truck we then meet our local guides in the traditional Mokoro (dugout canoe) who will be with us for the excursion.

We spend the day exploring the islands and waterways of this tranquil area.

Our comfortable tented camp is home for the night.

Day 5. Okavango Delta to Maun Highlights. Maun, Botswana.

After a morning exploring the area on foot with a variety of nature walks we pack up and return to the base in Maun.

After lunch we have the opportunity to take a flight over the Delta to give us an alternative perspective on the area we have been exploring.

Day 6. Maun to Khama Rhino Sanctuary Highlights. Khama Rhino Sanctuary, Botswana.

Travelling through the greater Kalahari region via the small outpost of Mopipi with views of vast salt pans in the distance we eventually reach the Khama Rhino Sanctuary in the Serowe Area. The Sanctuary was set up in order to try and conserve endangered rhino's and now benefits all the local community.

We enjoy an afternoon game drive with the experienced rangers.

Day 7. Stevensford Game Reserve to Pretoria

With an early morning departure, we cross the mighty Limpopo River into South Africa and continue our journey to Pretoria where our tour ends late this afternoon.
