Day 1. Livingstone Highlights. Victoria Falls - Mosi oa Tunya National Park, Zambia. Accommodation. The Zambezi Waterfront, Livingstone.

After settling into your accommodation the rest of today is at your leisure to explore the town, relax by the pool or take the opportunity to enjoy the various activities on offer. Optional activities include white water rafting, bungee jumping, scenic flights over the falls and much more.

This afternoon we drive to the Mosi oa Tunya National Park to view the Victoria Falls themselves. Known as the 'smoke that thunders' the falls are over a mile wide and 100 metres deep and at high water form the largest curtain of falling water in the world. Truly breathtaking!

Day 2. Livingstone to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe Accommodation. Burkes Paradise.

After breakfast we join our Acacia vehicle and camping group members and hit the road to Zimbabwe via the scenic Victoria Falls bridge. After border formalities we continue on to Bulawayo - Zimbabwe's second city.

After a short stop in the city, we head to our camp on the outskirts of the city.

Day 3. Matobo National Park Highlights. Matobo National Park, Zimbabwe. Accommodation. Burkes Paradise.

This morning we head out to explore the wonders of the Matobo National Park. We meet our local guide who is a specialist on the park, its wildlife and history and head out down the tracks in the 4x4 vehicle.

The granite rock formations in the surrounding area are home to the sites of a range of Bushman paintings from many hundreds of years ago, when the natural overhangs and caves provided shelter to the hunter-gatherer tribes.

Wildlife includes both black and white rhino, a variety of antelope, and the densest population of both leopard and black eagles in the world.

Day 4. Bulawayo to Tshipise, South Africa Highlights. Tshipise, South Africa. Accommodation. Forever Resorts, Tshipise.

Heading south, we cross the busy Beitbridge border into South Africa and after border formalities, make our way to the Tshipise hot springs resort.

Day 5. Tshipise to Hazyview Highlights. Shangaan Cultural Evening. Accommodation. Hotel Numbi.

We journey further south to safari country and travel over the rolling hills, past the farms to Hazyview on the border of the Kruger National Park.

Day 6. Kruger National Park Highlights. Kruger National Park, South Africa. Accommodation. Hotel Numbi.

Waking early we prepare for our day out in Kruger. Our local guides collect us in their 4x4 safari vehicles and we make our way into the National Park.

The Kruger National Park is renowned as a superior wildlife conservation area and we spend the day in search of the Big 5, and the many other interesting animals as well as learning about their behaviour and the history of the area.

Day 7. Hazyview to Pretoria

We enjoy the last breakfast together before hitting the road one last time, this time to Pretoria where our adventure ends on arrival in the city.
