The Sauti za Busara Music Festival, Zanzibar!

By 10th February 2015 No Comments

The Sauti za Busara (in swahili: “sounds of wisdom”)music festival takes place on the Idyllic island of Zanzibar on the 12th – 15th February. Each year, over 400 musicians perform on stages set up in Stone Town, one of the world’s most ancient and oldest cities. The main stage is situiated at the The Old Fort – a prominent tourist attraction for all visiting this magnificent city. Once in the fort, the courtyard has been adapted to serve as a cultural centre and hosts an open-air Amphitheatre where live dance and music shows are held most evenings.
