Launching on March 02 2015, Fly Africa Namibia will expand their flight route by operating flights from Johannesburg to Windhoek. As most international flights arrive into and depart from Johannesburg, you can catch a flight directly to Windhoek if you are joining the Southbound Cape Desert Safari, equally if you joining the Northbound Cape Desert Safari, ending in Windhoek, you can connect straight on to your homeward flight through Johannesburg.
By March 16 2015 flights from Cape Town to Windhoek will also be available for as low as Zar 799.00 (approx. US $ 70 pp), offering even more options to clients joining the Cape Desert Safari Camping Overland tour. The Northbound tour starts in Cape Town, so come spend a few days in the Mother City before you tour starts or extend your holidays in Cape Town at the end of the Southbound tour.
