Overland Camping Tours
Get ready to pitch in: Our Camping Overland tours are aimed at the adventurous traveller aged between 18-39 years of age. Just think, you could be wandering across Africa’s rich landscapes and journeying from the cold Atlantic Ocean to the warm Indian Ocean. Including endless off the beaten track places and covering up to eight countries our tours last between six and 58 days, so you make it a short hop or go large on the continent. Participatory, you’ll learn how to pitch your own tent (shared with a fellow traveller), speak a little of the lingo and even serve up a few local dishes, as the day-to-day chores include cooking, shopping in local markets and general camp duties. Run with two crew members in one of our custom built 24 seater overland trucks there’s the added bonus of no single supplements!

Accommodated Overland Tours
Overland in style: Our Accommodated Overland tours are also aimed at the adventurous traveller aged between 18-39 years as with our camping Overland tours. Same truck, but there’s no need to rough it. No tents! What better way to end your day of wanderlust than with a night in a comfortable bed in a locally run lodge or tented camp. Most rooms sleep two people, but if you are a single traveller, don’t stress, as you will be teamed up with a fellow traveller of the same sex.
Looking for a little more comfort, but still love the overland style of travel? Then this tour style is for you. Our Accommodated Overland tours include Southern and East African adventures, so take the plunge, travel alone or with your family and indulge in Africa.
Small Group Safaris
Small group tours that are BIG on adventure: Our Small Group Safaris are ideal if you are looking for a comprehensive holiday of between three and 17 days and want to enjoy Africa with a more intimate gathering of like-minded travellers. As journeys are taken on smaller vehicles (maximum of eight to 15 passengers) you’ll be able to reach remote and secluded areas and encounter local tribes without imposing on their daily lives. We have a variety of tours on offer in Southern Africa and a few shorter itineraries in East Africa. There’s also a great choice of accommodation – some basic, some en-suite and some camping. Most of these options are family friendly and open to children from eight years, which makes them ideal for younger adventurers too.
