After nearly 18 years in Africa I finally timed my visit to Victoria Falls perfectly to see the lunar Rainbow – it has been on my wish list forever!
The Victoria Falls are one of very few places on Earth where this natural phenomenon occurs on a regular basis and where accessibility to the premium viewing spots is so accessible. The Lunar Rainbow is created from light being refracted by water particles in the spray from the Falls.
It is truly one of the most beautiful sights you could wish to see on your African Safari – don’t forget to check to see if your dates in Livingstone coincide with the Lunar Raibow!
