Zambia will be dancing to David Livingstone’s beat this month, the bicentennial of the legendary explorer’s birth being marked by various events throughout the year. Organised by The DavidLivingstone Bicentenary and Livingstone 2013 Initiative, in partnership with the Zambia Tourism Board, an International Cultural Arts Festival will be held on 21 and 22 June, making this the ideal time to book an adventure with us!
A lively street carnival is set to wind its way through the centre of the town on 21 June, live bands performing at the Livingstone Royal Golf & Country Club during the evening. A community-focused event, the following day will feature African music, cultural dancing, arts, crafts and food – masked Zambian dancers roaming through the crowds.
