Ready for another online game drive? Imagine a vast golden savannah, dotted with Acacia and palm trees and large rocky outcrops that resemble, Pride Rock from the Lion King.  This is the land of endless plains, the Serengeti National Park putting on a breathtaking wildlife show for blogger Johnny Chen. In his own words, the tour group were “a lucky bunch,” as after visiting only two safari parks, they had already bagged four leopards sightings.

“After driving around for a bit, we eventually stumbled into an area with a few other cars so we knew there was something here. Yep, three leopards! Leopards are incredibly hard to spot especially since they love the cover of a bushy tree like the one we saw in the Masai Mara. These leopards however, were laying on a branch with no cover. They camouflage so well into the branches but once we made them out, they were there just chilling, not bothered by a thing.”

Find out why the group’s luck is still  going strong even before they head off on the afternoon game drive, and visit the Johnny Africa blog  for more tales from the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater.  Thinking of chancing your luck in one of Africa’s most sought after safari destinations?  Book the 13-day Kenya & Tanzania Adventure )!
