Kenya
The best time to go on safari in Kenya and experience a huge density and diversity of wildlife is when the annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gnu’s descend on the Mara plains which makes a great feeding ground for the predators. The best time to see this wildlife spectacle is from July to October. Uganda
Uganda most visited Park is the Queen Elizabeth National Park which has an astounding amount of mammals and bird life including the rare tree climbing lions and roaming chimpanzees. The best time to visit is from December – March or June – September, when it is predominantly dry. Check out more about Uganda
Tanzania
If you want to see the migration unfold, head to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park (Northern Tanzania). The best time to witness the migration is around February-March when the wildebeest and zebra give birth to their young. Not only do you get the opportunity to see the babies, but the predators are at their highest number too. It is also great to visit Tanzanian parks as a whole from June – November through the dry months where the animals congregate around permanent waterholes and it is not too hot and humid at this time of year.
