Africa is one gigantic bucket list and there are far too many pursuits to fit in one post, so we’ve pinned down some of the less obvious options from extreme adrenaline pumping thrills to more chilled activities on the continent.
Bungy jump, Livingstone
1.  Crocodile Diving is not for the feint hearted. Nile Crocodiles exert four times the pressure of a Great White Shark when they bite, and when the cage goes down into the depths they will often stare you out in case there’s the chance of a free lunch. Don’t worry the cage is bite proof, and for those who choose to flipper up we’d say this is extreme cage diving – one adventurer claiming they could even count teeth! Get ready for an underwater wildlife rush in South Africa.
2. Malawi is an up and coming destination which means overland expeditions are still one of the options for those planning on visiting the warm heart of Africa. While at Lake Malawi take the trek to Livinstonia where you’ll find an Africa lost in time. It’s worth the three hour hike there and back, and sometimes it’s the more difficult to reach locations which spell wanderlust
3. When most people think of bungy jumping, Livingstone in Zambia almost always gets a mention, but did you know you can also jump into the abyss in Uganda? Check out our 14-day Gorilla Encounter  and the country’s second largest town Jinja, known as East Africa’s Adventure Capital.
4. Lake Mutirikwe is our base for exploring the Great Zimbabwe ruins, but it’s also a fishing, boating and birders paradise. While you’re there take a sundowner cruise on the lake as it’s an unforgettable experience.
5. Peer into the heart and soul of rural Botswana on a Tswana village walk . After meeting with the village chief in the “Kgotla,” a central meeting point for all residents, there is a school and hospital visit, the tour ending at the home of the village Sangoma who will throw bones and look into your future.
