On Sunday the 01 March 2015 possibly the coolest annual surf event hits one of Cape Town’s hottest local surf spots. The RVCA Rolling Retro returns to the local beach of Llandudno. Over 120 surfers take on the waves and battle it out in front of a panel of judges in retro style outfits and yesteryear boards – made truly by the awesome Vudu surf!
This classic event is one of the funniest, awe-inspiring and happiest events of the year where locals and travellers alike flock to the beach to enjoy this amazing day of entertaining surfing moves, interesting surf boards and well, what can I say, outfits! Not to forget to mention great food, company and beach vibes.
The Llandudno Surf life Club is where the action is and you can buy cold beers, soft drinks and sizzling hot food from the local’s that Braai (BBQ) as the event hits it peak. Don’t forget to bring an umbrella and loads of sunblock and of course cash for your food and drinks.
