Where Culture Vultures Go Wild

For a taste of cultures past and present the 20-Day Kruger to Cape Town is hard to beat – the camping overland itinerary including everything from tours of South Africa’s battlefields to Eswatini’s (formerly Swaziland) Royal Enclosure. You will have the opportunity to engage with the locals throughout the tour, trekking to the Botsoela waterfall on Basotho ponies a popular activity in Lesotho. While there are more traditional game drives on offer in the Kruger and Mountain Zebra national parks, you can expect to get more intimately acquainted with the wildlife on walking safaris and river cruises – the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary, the Tsitsikamma National Park and St. Lucia, also visited en route to South Africa’s Mother City.
