Africa Secures Three Places On National Geographic Traveller’s Cool List
National Geographic Traveller (UK) announced its Cool List 2019, highlighting the 19 must-see destinations for the year ahead. Great news for Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda and the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal all made the list. 

Good News For Lion King Fans!
In 2019 a new and updated version of “The Lion King” is set to hit the big screen, with Beyonce lending her voice to Nala. Tanzania can probably expect much the same if not a greater stampede of wildlife fans opting to safari in the Serengeti, the remake a live-action version. 
 
Follow in David Attenborough’s Footsteps
Hosted by Sir David Attenborough, episode four of the BBC Dynasties series focused on the Painted Wolf Africa’s most endangered predator. Complete with intense filming which is said to compare to a Shakespearean drama, Attenborough followed a pack of painted dogs along the banks of the Zambezi and explored the rivalry between Tait the matriarch and her daughter Blacktip.

See the Okavango Delta come to life with National Geographic’s 360-degree video
This week National Geographic premiered the first episode of its new 360-degree video series, “The Okavango Experience”. In the first six-minute episode, watch as zebras come within inches of your face, ride in a canoe as it glides through the wetlands, and sit around the campfire with the expedition team as they plan the next day’s journey.
