The North and West Coast of Zanzibar is approximately 2 hours from Stone Town and is renowned for its spectacular white beaches splashed with the warm azure waters of the Indian Ocean. This magnificent part of the Island offers the ideal spot to unwind and soak up the sun. There are four major foci for travellers to the area; Nungwi, Kendwa, Mnemba Atoll and Tumbatu Island. There are various restaurants, guesthouses, bars, shops and accommodation on the North and West Coast of Zanzibar all offering a variety of water-sports, boat trips, diving, village tours and excursions to other parts of the island.
